Amit Midha, a top Dell executive in Greater China and South Asia said on Monday, “We have to have a point of view on the industry and technology direction two years, three years down the road, so we continuously work with Google on this,”
Sounds like Dell believe that the future for cloud centric operating systems are not ready for prime time yet and are likely to require a couple more years, at least, of development – whether it’s a cultural shift needed or he thinks the features shipping with Google Chrome OS need beefing up and fleshing out remains to be seen.
